• Roll-consensus rescue — frames that fail individual detection get a second pass seeded with the roll's median frame size/position. Camera-scanned strips are extremely consistent frame-to-frame, so this cuts the number of stragglers a batch leaves behind, and it stands down automatically when the roll isn’t consistent enough to trust.
• Keep-the-border crop mode — crop to a uniform margin outside the detected frame instead of trimming into it, for shooters who want the rebate visible.
• Saturation mask for slides — dense or dark chrome whose luminance collapses into the black rebate is now separated by color instead, where the neutral rebate and a colorful frame still contrast.
• Named settings profiles — save and recall a tunable set per scanning setup (e.g. “Epson V600 · 35mm”, “DSLR · 120”).

• Bundled detection engine — the standard download includes everything; no Python install required. A lightweight build remains for those who prefer their own Python.
